Leisure Isle Boat Club

Nestled in the picturesque Peter Gordon small boat harbour, Leisure Isle Boat Club (LIBC) has been part of the Knysna boating community since its founding around 1990. The harbour itself was originally built in 1992 and extended in 2004, providing secure facilities for launching, mooring, and storing small vessels.

LIBC accommodates boats under 6.1m in length, with a beam under 2.4m and a draught of up to 0.6m (a limited number of up to 6.4m in length may be permitted with special approval).

Approximately 250 privately-owned walk-on moorings and an equal number of trailer parking bays serve both members and temporary members, and there is limited storage for paddle craft. Visitors are welcome to launch at the public slipway for a daily fee or join as Temporary Members (weekly or monthly), ensuring everyone can enjoy Knysna’s serene lagoon waters.
